Wix Studio is a powerful platform for building responsive websites with little to no coding required. Its intuitive drag‑and‑drop interface and user-friendly design tools make it easy to create polished layouts quickly. Most modern websites are designed with a defined page width to maintain structure and readability across different screen sizes.
By default, Wix sets your site’s maximum width to 1600px. But what if you want a more contained layout or tighter design? In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to adjust the max page width in just a few simple clicks.
log into the Wix website and open up your site in the studio editor.
On the left-hand side tool bar, select the site styles tab.
Once the toolbox opens, move the slider to the tab labeled "Max width"
Make sure you have "Apply to site" toggled on to keep the look consistent through the pages.
