IT-Tech ("IT-Tech," "we," "us") is operated by Steven, based in Old Bethpage, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through it-tech.live, how we use it, and your choices.

• Information you give us. When you submit a repair request, book a session, contact us or create an account: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and details about your device (type, model, serial number, the problem).

• Payment information. Payments are processed by Wix Payments and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.

• Account information. If you create an account on our site, your login email and profile details.

• Automatic information. Like most websites, our site and its providers collect basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, using cookies and similar tools.

• Photos, screenshots or videos you choose to upload about your device or issue. These are stored privately and used only to diagnose your request.

2. How we use your information

• To provide our services: process repair requests, diagnose and repair devices, schedule remote sessions, and ship devices.

• To create shipping labels and tracking.

• To send you repair updates, quotes, receipts and support replies.

• To run, secure and improve the website.

• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the service providers we need to run the business:

• Wix.com: website hosting, accounts, forms, bookings and payments

• Shippo and shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx): your name, address and phone, to create labels and deliver packages

• Resend: delivering our repair update emails

• Google Workspace: our business email

• Advertising partners (if enabled): see section 5

We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Your device and your data

When you send us a device, we access it only as needed to diagnose, repair and test it. We never browse, copy or share your personal files. Some repairs can result in data loss, so please back up your data before shipping. See our Repair Terms.

5. Cookies and advertising

We and our providers use cookies to keep the site working, remember your login and understand site usage. Some pages may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
 

6. How long we keep information

We keep repair and payment records as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties and meet tax and legal requirements. This is typically up to 7 years for financial records. After that, we delete it.

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

 

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or stop marketing emails, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we'll honor them.

 

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

 

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
