Canon imageFORMULA P-P15 II - Can't Locate Device

If you've recently installed or updated to Windows 11, you may encounter an issue where your Canon ImageFORMULA P-215II desktop scanner is not recognized by your PC when attempting to use the one-touch app.
In order to resolve this issue, you can follow the below guide.
1. uninstall the device driver via control panel
2. Download the lastest drivers from their website *look for the ISIS/TWAIN
3. Extract the drivers
4. Open the extracted folder and browse into the x64 folder. Inside that folder is a setup file.
5. Run the setup in Administrator Mode.
after installation is complete, unplug and plug the scanner back in.
