Does your word document look a little different? Did it used to look like a standard 8x11 page that sits in your printer tray but now it's just a square box? Kinda like the picture below?

Don't worry - this is a very simple fix that requires just a few clicks of your mouse. But first let's figure out how this accident happened. One minute, your word document looks normal, then all of a sudden, the page changes and you have no clue what happened. Without realizing where the mouse was, you probably double-clicked on the gray area outside the word document. That fast double-clicking turned off the white space. there are two simple solutions to turn it back on.
Solution 1: Double-Click again to turn it on again
That's right - pretty straight forward. Just double click in the gray space above or below your word document and presto - fixed. It's important to note the curser changes to an up and down arrow. When that change occurs you'll see a notification bubble telling you to "Double-click to hide white space.
Solution 2: Options Menu
This solution has a few more clicks but it does the same thing as the above solution.
1. In your word document go to File and then select options.
2. In the options window select the Display tab on the left side
3. In the Page Display Options section, you'll see that the first option is set to off. Enable it by clicking on it.

4. Then press the OK button.

Once you hit the OK button, the menu will close out, and your page will look like a standard 8x11 page.
